Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT opens the different Calls for Projects for its seventh edition. Projects of any nationality submitted by production companies -and scriptwriters in the case of Pitch Feelgood Formats- both fiction and entertainment will be evaluated by the various Editorial Committees to bring to Conecta a curated selection of the best projects in each category.
The different Calls for Projects in the 2023 edition are:
SCRIPTED
- PITCH COPRO SERIES – International co-production projects for TV series or mini-series. Deadline March 28.
- PITCH HIGH-END SERIES – High-budget projects with strong audience potential and elements that make them highly appealing (international co-productions, being backed by talents such as screenwriters, directors, cast, etc., being based on pre-existing material such as podcasts, videogames, literary works, theater, etc.). Deadline March 28.
- PITCH MUSIC SERIES – Fiction series or mini-series projects, in which music plays a fundamental role. Deadline April 3.
NON-SCRIPTED
- PITCH DOCUDRAMA SERIES – Documentary series with fictionized elements. Deadline April 4.
ENTERTAINMENT
- PITCH FEELGOOD FORMATS – Uplifting television format projects aiming to bring a smile to the viewers. Deadline April 4.
The finalist projects will be pitched at Conecta (June 26-29 in Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain) to broadcasters, platforms, production companies and other players in the audiovisual industry and will compete for different prizes awarded by various Spanish and international companies and institutions.
